Attendance

Building Strong Attendance Habits

Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success. It is important that children attend school, unless they are too ill to do so. Please always contact your child’s teacher or the office if you have any questions. The following flyer has attendance facts and some helpful habits to put in place as a family.  Click Here!

Every day counts! School success starts with attendance.

Reporting an Absence

When your child is absent, please call the school at 916-788-7141. If you notify the school via email, please make sure to include your child's first and last name and the reason for the absence.

If we have not heard from you by 9:30, you will receive an email and phone call reminding you to clear the absence.  At this point you can either call, email us back, or send a note with your child the following day.

Reminder:  The only legally recognized absences are for illness, doctor appointments and certain bereavement.
